I can’t believe today is Thanksgiving. But, it’s here. Turkey Day. The Macy’s Day Parade. Football. And, about an extra 5lb weight gain from one meal.
Obviously, we’re all supposed to be thinking about what we’re most thankful for at this time. I’m getting my caveats in now…Clearly, I’m thankful for my health, family, friends, and good weather.
But, with everything that’s been going on all over the World, I figured it’d be nice for a little thankful brevity. So, here are the 10 Things I’m Most Thankful For:
10. Kelly finally finding her co-host, Michael Strahan. Took her long enough.
9. Mail. The fact that the mailman is still delivering our mail and that my dog hasn’t killed him yet is astounding.
8. These hair-tie-thingies that don’t rip my hair out. They come in lots of fun cute colors that even look cute when you wear it on your wrist.
7. My IPad. I never leave home without it.
6. This new fabulous Essie nail color that I’m absolutely in love with, Dive Bar.
5. Chocolate croissants. Yum.
4. Coffee. I’m a total addict and I absolutely refuse to seek help about it. No caffeine rehab for me. I literally wouldn’t be able to function without my morning cup-of-joe.
3. “Tattoo Nightmares,” on Spike TV. It’s my new favorite show. Brilliant. People come in with horrific tattoos and stories of how they got them, but walk out with works of art. They make the terrible tattoo totally disappear. It’s unbelievable. It also feeds my tattoo fascination.
2. Erotic romances. This should be obvious, but in case you’re just tuning in…my discovery and obsession with this literary genre has provided countless benefits. I’ll just let you run with that one.
…and the number 1 thing that I’m most thankful for this holiday season:
1. Mark still has all his appendages. Seriously. His attempt to cut down our fallen tree could have easily turned into a catastrophe of epic proportions. And, he did it today, on Thanksgiving. So, I’d say I’m most thankful that we didn’t end up in the hospital today.
Luckily, Mark got to this point without any problems. There were a few touch-and-go moments, but no bloodshed.
A big exhale of relief…
I’ll say it again, I’m so very thankful we didn’t end up in the hospital today.
I’m really thankful for all my amazing readers. You guys are the best!! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!! I hope it was a wonderful Holiday for you!!!

I appreciate everything that you do,
Very helpful and thoughtful too.
From the beginning, you’ve been there for me,
When I was down, you were strong like a tree.
